Less than 30% of Americans would understand that bad joke. A recent survey asked Americans to name the controlling party of the U.S. House of Representatives, the U.S. Secretary of State and the Prime Minister of Great Britain. The results aren't entirely surprising but are still a little upsetting. Only 18% could answer all three questions, less than 30% knew Gordon Brown.
