Sullivan and Hitchens

Andrew Sullivan discusses Christopher Hitchens's 2004 support for Bush and his own evolution. Hitchens's discussion with Eric Alterman on is below. It's a great (sometimes overlooked) credit to our country that two born Brits are among our most thoughtful and passionate advocates. Hitchens recently became an American citizen, Sullivan is citizen in all but law.

I greatly enjoy watching Hitchens debate. He's fond of following his formal debate introductions with "thank you for that suspiciously terse introduction". But, in my judgment, he does not come off well in the discussion with Alterman. It's worth watching.
