McCain Solicits Russia for Campaign Cash

Senator McCain accidentally looked into the eyes of Russia's UN Ambassador the other day and saw four letters: n-y-e-t. Difficult to believe, but Vitaly Churkin actually received a letter from the McCain presidential campaign on October 16th requesting a financial donation of up to $5,000. Not surprisingly, the Russians declined.

Although the McCain campaign today said that the embarrassing letter was the result of "an error in the mailing list," it is clear that the request for campaign funds from Russia was the premeditated act of a closet communist.
